The cap features a padded embroidered badge with a silver anchor, surrounded by gold bullion laurel leaves, topped with a red and gold King’s Crown — identifying the reign of King George VI (1936–1952).
Two black fabric-covered buttons secure the mohair band on either side. The visor surface shows cracking and wear, while the body retains its shape with slight lint accumulation.
