Class Quilt

A handmade commemorative quilt created by the Pre-K and Kindergarten Class of 2000 at Grosse Ile High School.
The quilt features a white center panel bordered by red trim, with a printed photograph of Grosse Ile High School at the center. Surrounding the image are embroidered handprints outlined in red thread, each labeled with a student’s name in red ink.
A red maple leaf is quilted into each corner, symbolizing both Canada and the students’ island identity.
