Radio Receiver

Rectangular black metal communications receiver with a large central tuning dial surrounded by smaller control knobs for selectivity, gain, and phasing. The front panel features an analog meter, three audio output jacks, and a frequency calibration chart labelled “Coil Set Type JB.”
The receiver operates on shortwave bands between 7.0 and 14.4 megacycles, and was part of the National HRO series widely used by both amateur radio operators and military communication units during and after World War II.

The unit includes switches marked “A.V.C. OFF,” “B+ ON,” and “OSC,” with separate adjustments for selectivity and signal gain. Ventilation slots are located on the top of the casing, and black carrying handles are mounted to the front.
