Morse Code Practice Key

Rectangular Morse code training key or buzzer practice set mounted on a black metal or bakelite base. The unit includes a levered key arm with circular knob, a small red-wrapped coil and contacts for an electromagnetic buzzer, and two terminals marked “+” and “–” for battery connection.

This device was used by cadets or signal trainees to learn and practice Morse code transmission, producing audible signals through an internal buzzer when connected to a small battery. The design and materials suggest a mid-20th-century model consistent with other Canadian-made training equipment used during or after the Second World War.
