Two-piece metal belt buckle featuring the insignia of Le Régiment de la Chaudière.
The right side bears a circular clasp engraved with the regiment’s name — “Le Régiment de la Chaudière” — surrounding an opening designed to interlock with the left plate. The left plate bears a round emblem showing two crossed rifles surmounted by a beaver and fleur-de-lis, the regiment’s distinctive badge, above the motto AERE PERENNIUS.
When assembled, the two parts form a secure clasp typical of Canadian military parade and dress belts
