Small bronze metal officer’s rank insignia, shaped as an eight-pointed star with a circular centre featuring the emblem of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath. The central medallion shows three crowns surrounded by a laurel wreath and the Latin motto “Tria Juncta in Uno” (“Three joined in one”).
This variant is made of oxidized bronze, typically used on service dress uniforms for Commonwealth officers during the Second World War period.
