A ceremonial officer’s sword with a straight, single-edged steel blade, heavily oxidized and bearing decorative engravings including floral motifs and a Star of David symbol with a brass inlay at the ricasso.
The hilt features a silver-plated guard with elaborate openwork designs, incorporating scroll and crown motifs, possibly including engraved lettering or insignia indicative of rank or regiment. The grip is wrapped in black material (possibly sharkskin or leather) with twisted silver wire binding, terminating in a steel pommel cap.
The sword is accompanied by a brown leather scabbard with a brass throat fitting and stitched seam along its length.
