Canadian Armed Forces women’s air force service hat crafted from air force blue wool with an upturned brim and a black grosgrain hatband. Attached to the front center is an enamelled metal cap badge of the Canadian Military Engineers (CME) featuring a central beaver emblem encircled by blue and red enamel with the text « ENGINEERS · GENIE · CANADA » and the motto « UBIQUE » surmounted by St. Edward’s Crown. An interior maker’s label identifies production by Canadian Hat Mfg. Corp. in February 1986.
