Framed Display – Albert Benjamin Chenell

Framed commemorative display dedicated to Rifleman Albert Benjamin Chenell of the Royal Rifles of Canada (1939–1945). The composition features two black-and-white photographs — one portrait of Chenell in uniform, and another of the H.M.T. Awatea, the transport ship that carried troops overseas. The frame includes embroidered insignias: a “Rifleman” cap tally, a “H.M.T. Awatea” label, and a shoulder badge reading “The Royal Rifles of Canada.” The lower section presents five campaign medals mounted side by side and a gold dedication plaque recognizing Chenell’s service and sacrifice.
