8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise’s) Battle Dress Trousers

Olive green wool serge battle dress trousers belonging to the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise’s) regiment. The trousers feature a button fly, belt loops, a single rear pocket with flap and button closure, and side slash pockets. The back waistband has interior buttons designed for attachment to braces (suspenders).

This garment formed part of the Canadian Army’s standard battle dress, commonly worn by members of the 8th Canadian Hussars during and after the Second World War.
