Battery Charger

Compact black rectangular metal charger equipped with a two-prong power plug and an output cable terminating in a metallic connector. The unit features a selector switch for normal or continuous charging, and a printed DEAC manufacturer plate on the upper surface.

This device was used to recharge nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) batteries powering the Telefunken PE-484 portable radio receiver system, commonly employed by the German Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht. The DEAC company specialized in small rechargeable cells designed for field communication devices, cameras, and navigation instruments.
