Small leather belt loop attachment, designed to suspend a pistol holster or similar field accessory from a web belt. The loop is made of brown leather, folded and secured with a brass rivet at one end. Inside, a thin steel reinforcement strip provides rigidity and tension, allowing the loop to hold its shape and grip the belt firmly.
This component was issued with mid-20th century web holsters such as the Canadian Pattern 1951 or U.S. M-1956 designs, which employed removable belt keepers rather than fixed loops.
