Canada Insignia

A Canadian military sleeve insignia mounted on olive-green uniform fabric with an extended tab and buttonhole for shoulder attachment. The red shield patch features the word “CANADA” embroidered in yellow above a gold maple leaf flanked by a white laurel wreath.

This type of insignia was worn by members of the Canadian Army serving both domestically and abroad as part of the Commonwealth Division and United Nations missions during the post–Second World War era. The design identifies national origin rather than corps or regiment, and was commonly paired with shoulder titles or division patches.
