Canadian Guards Shoulder Titles

Two curved red wool shoulder titles embroidered in white thread with the words “CANADIAN GUARDS.” These cloth insignia were worn on the upper sleeves of the battledress or service dress uniforms by members of The Canadian Guards, an infantry regiment of the Canadian Army active from 1953 to 1970. The red background with white lettering reflects traditional regimental colours inspired by the Guards regiments of the British Army.
