Army green canvas web belt featuring brass hardware, including a two-piece front closure and two brass adjustment buckles at the rear. The belt is constructed of tightly woven cotton webbing, part of the standard-issue 1937 Pattern Web Equipment used by Commonwealth forces during WWII.
Designed for use with suspenders and other attachments such as ammunition pouches, bayonet frog, and canteen carrier, the belt formed the foundation of a soldier’s combat gear.
