Vintage gold-tone metal and enamel military cap badge featuring a central eagle with outspread wings over a light blue and dark blue circular enamel ring inscribed with the motto « PER ARDUA AD ASTRA », all set against a wreath of maple leaves and surmounted by a St. Edward’s (or Tudor-style) crown with red and white enamel detailing. A mounting tab/lug is visible at the lower reverse center.
