Cap Tally

A cap tally is a black length of nylon ribbon woven with gold text, that is fastened around a Royal Navy Sailor’s cap and tied in a bow. The gold text denotes the ship or unit to which the sailor belongs, for example HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH or HMS DAUNTLESS.Sep 15, 2017
