Commonwealth Insignia

A Commonwealth military sleeve insignia mounted on olive-green uniform fabric with an extended tab and buttonhole for attachment. The central cream shield patch bears a red and gold crown embroidered above the word “COMMONWEALTH” in gold thread.

This insignia design was worn by members of Commonwealth forces participating in joint military operations during the post–Second World War era, including the Korean War and early peacekeeping missions. Its simplified configuration suggests it may have belonged to a non-specialized unit or to a service member attached to a Commonwealth division without a distinct corps designation.
