Puttees

A pair of olive-drab wool puttees, rolled and tied together with a white cotton string. Each puttee is a long, narrow strip of tightly woven wool fabric, designed to be wrapped around the lower leg from the ankle to just below the knee.

The material is thick and durable, intended to provide ankle support, warmth, and protection against mud and debris. The color and weave are consistent with standard-issue Canadian and British military uniforms of the Second World War.
