Iron Cross (Miniature)

Miniature version of the German Iron Cross, First Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse), dating from 1939–1945. The medal features a black enamelled Maltese cross with a silver border, and is mounted on a miniature red, white, and black ribbon. This small-scale version would have been worn on civilian attire or as part of an informal display, rather than a full military uniform.
