Service Jacket

Olive-green wool military service jacket belonging to Franklin Howard McColm, member of the Royal Rifles of Canada. The jacket features two pleated chest pockets with buttoned flaps, a belted waist, and rank insignia on the lower sleeve consisting of five red chevrons. Both shoulders bear embroidered “Royal Rifles of Canada” shoulder flashes above “Canada” badges. Above the left pocket is a ribbon bar with three campaign ribbons, representing McColm’s service distinctions during the Second World War.
