A German M35 steel combat helmet (Stahlhelm) used by the Wehrmacht during the Second World War. Constructed of pressed steel with a matte field-gray (Feldgrau) paint finish, the helmet retains both side decals — the black-red-gold national colors on the right and the Wehrmacht eagle emblem on the left — though both are partially worn and scratched.
The interior features a leather liner with perforated pads and an adjustable drawstring, mounted on an aluminum liner band, and a leather chinstrap with a metal buckle. This design represents the standard German infantry helmet model M35, introduced as an improved and lighter version of the WWI M16/M18 helmets, offering better ventilation and reduced profile.
