Group Photograph

Image par défaut

A panoramic black-and-white group photograph showing approximately one hundred uniformed soldiers standing and kneeling in several rows on snowy ground. The image was taken at Camp de Valcartier, Quebec, and identifies the group as the 2e Compagnie d’Infanterie (2nd Infantry Company) of the A.I.T.C.A. (Army Infantry Training Centre A).

In the far left of the photograph, buildings and signage from the camp are visible in the background. A smaller inset photograph in the upper right corner shows a single soldier in uniform, possibly as a dedication or individual portrait related to the main group.

The back of the wooden frame bears a handwritten name in red ink: “Braid Petitpas”, likely indicating either the owner or one of the photographed soldiers.
