Steel combat helmet, painted in matte olive green, with a distinctive flared rim and sloped sides typical of the German M35 or M40 Stahlhelm design. The helmet features ventilation holes on both sides and retains its inner rivet points for the liner and chinstrap (now missing). The interior is painted a lighter green and marked “47–125 SE 62”, indicating a shell size and manufacturer code.
The helmet has been repainted post-war, possibly for reuse by another military force or for training purposes. The absence of decals or insignia and the even, utilitarian repaint suggest later adaptation rather than wartime camouflage.
