Mackerel Line and Hooks

A traditional mackerel hand line consisting of a wooden winding frame wrapped with heavy twine fishing line.
Two metal hooks with attached lead weights are secured at the ends of the line.
The wooden frame is roughly rectangular, made from weathered wood with four vertical pegs to hold the line in place.
The lead sinkers are tapered and attached just above each hook, designed to keep the baited hooks submerged during trolling or jigging.
