Uniform Button

Circular gold-tone brass button featuring a fouled anchor surmounted by a King’s Crown and the word “CANADA” embossed above the anchor. The background is diagonally lined, giving a textured effect that highlights the raised emblem. This type of button was worn on the uniforms of Royal Canadian Navy ratings (non-commissioned personnel).
