Framed Display – Rupert Maxwell Dunn

Framed commemorative display honouring Able Seaman Rupert Maxwell Dunn, who served aboard H.M.C.S. Spikenard during the Second World War. The composition includes a black-and-white portrait of Dunn, a photograph of the ship H.M.C.S. Spikenard (K198), and a series of wire-embroidered badges, including the ship tally, a submarine emblem pierced by a hammer (symbolizing anti-submarine action), a “C” star insignia, and a “Battle of the Atlantic 50th Anniversary 1993” badge. The lower section features four campaign medals and a gold dedication plaque commemorating Dunn’s service and sacrifice.
