Shoulder Title

A curved fabric shoulder title patch with yellow embroidered lettering reading THE ROYAL CANADIAN REGIMENT on a dark blue felt background, bordered in black. The patch is designed to be worn on the upper sleeve of a military uniform to identify regimental affiliation.

This example is associated with The Royal Canadian Regiment (RCR), one of the oldest regular infantry regiments in the Canadian Army, originally formed in 1883. The regiment has a long history of service in major conflicts, including the Boer War, World War I, World War II, and Korean War, as well as numerous peacekeeping missions.

There are three identical patches within the collection — one displayed in Cabinet 2 with tree bark, and two stored separately.
