Sickle

A curved iron blade with a wooden handle, used for cutting grass, grain, or reeds. The blade is heavily rusted and shows wear along its inner edge. The handle is cylindrical, smooth from use, and secured to the blade tang by friction fit. The junction between handle and blade shows a small notch where the metal curves upward.
