Model Lobster Trap

A miniature model lobster trap constructed in the traditional arched “D-shape” style.
The structure consists of a wooden slat frame supported by curved natural branch ribs and woven green cord netting forming the sides and entry funnels.
The trap is set on a flat wooden base with small side supports for stability.
This model accurately reproduces the form and function of a full-sized lobster trap used in the Magdalen Islands and throughout Atlantic Canada.
