Web Belt

A woven cotton webbing belt or strap, beige in colour, with a brass slide buckle at one end. The strap is tightly rolled. Printed in black ink along the fabric are patent and manufacturing markings. The webbing is robust, consistent with U.S. military-issue web gear used during the Second World War.

These belts and straps were part of the M-1936 and M-1942 equipment systems and were widely used for securing packs, webbing components, or as part of load-bearing gear.
