The document, titled “Teacher’s Engagement”, was issued by the Canada Supply Company Ltd., Montreal.
It stipulates the employment terms between the Old Harry School Municipality and Miss Erma Dunn, including responsibilities such as teaching district pupils, maintaining school records, and preserving materials.
Signed at the bottom by both Erma Dunn (teacher) and James E. Clark (Chairman of the School Commission).
The paper shows browning and water stains along the left margin and general wear consistent with age.
