Pair of in-ear communication receivers made of dark grey and light grey Bakelite with metallic trim. Each earpiece features the Telefunken diamond logo on the exterior housing. The rear portion contains small ventilation or tuning holes, while the cylindrical stems connect to detachable twin-pin cables (see 2020.645.017).
These compact receivers were designed for direct insertion into the operator’s ear canal to provide clear audio output from the Telefunken PE-484 field radio set. Their light, ergonomic design and color scheme correspond with standard Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht signal-corps communication equipment used during the Second World War.
