Olive drab wool service tunic featuring four silver-coloured metal buttons down the front, each embossed with the figure of Mercury, emblem of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals (RCCS). The tunic includes four front pockets with buttoned flaps and one small slit pocket on the left breast.
The shoulders bear rank insignia consisting of two gold diamond pips and a crown on each epaulette, identifying the rank of Lieutenant. A gold metal “R.C. SIGS” shoulder title is pinned to each epaulette. Both sleeves display a square red-and-blue patch with a central red maple leaf, symbolizing Canadian forces. The left breast bears an embroidered parachute wings badge in white, black, and gold, indicating paratrooper qualification.
Collar lapels display bronze RCCS badges with the unit’s Latin motto “Velox Versutus Vigilans” (Swift, Skilled, Alert). The right shoulder carries a braided lanyard in dark green, light green, white, and navy blue macramé cord, traditionally associated with the Corps.
