Quilt

Hand-sewn patchwork quilt composed of velvet fabric cuttings in rich, varied tones of burgundy, green, gold, brown, pink, and blue. The individual irregular patches are joined together using decorative embroidery stitches to form 12-inch square blocks, which are then sewn together to create the full quilt top. The backing fabric is a faded pink cotton.
