Rectangular wooden-framed washboard with a ribbed glass scrubbing surface. The top wooden panel is printed in red ink with the word “Economy” and the manufacturer’s name “Canadian Woodenware Co.” (or a similar mark, as partially visible). The glass surface is molded with a diagonal wave pattern designed for friction when scrubbing garments.
