A Ross Rifle 1910 Mark II bayonet, officially adopted in 1908 and issued beginning in 1910 for use with the Ross Mk II service rifle. This model was designed and produced by the Ross Rifle Company of Canada and saw service during the early years of the First World War.
The bayonet features a straight, single-edged steel blade with a sharpened spear point and a fuller (blood groove) running along each side. The wooden grips are secured by two steel rivets to the tang. The pommel incorporates the distinctive T-shaped rifle mounting slot and press-stud release, compatible with the Ross Mk II rifle. A small muzzle ring guard is attached near the base of the blade.
