Morse Key

Rectangular wooden mounting base with a triangular back edge, holding a brass and steel Morse key fitted with a dark brown Bakelite knob. Multiple colored connection wires (red and blue) remain attached to the terminal posts. A black metal instruction plate is fixed above the key mechanism.

This is a Royal Air Force Wireless Telegraphy (WT) 8 Amp key, used during the Second World War for manual Morse code communication through radio transmitters. Known for its durability and precise spring tension, this model was standard issue in RAF communication stations and field sets, as well as in Ham radio training for postwar operators.
